The Comprehensive Window Manufacturing Process

Our window manufacturing process at Ahlada Engineers epitomises precision, quality, and sustainability. From the initial profiling to the final packaging, each step is meticulously designed to ensure our windows meet the highest standards of durability and aesthetic appeal.

Window Profiling:

The journey begins with window profiling, where a large steel roll feeds into a sophisticated punching machine. This machine meticulously punches a variety of essential holes, including anchor holes, lock slots, corner holes, backplate holes, hinge slots, and reference points. These precisely positioned holes are critical for the functionality and assembly of the windows.

Following the punching process, the steel slabs are fed into a profiling machine. This machine expertly shapes the frames, creating both inner and outer frames necessary for the window structure. Once the profiling is complete, the frames are cut to the required sizes with high precision.

The cut frames are then refined using a hydraulic press to smooth out any rough edges, ensuring a sleek finish. Additionally, a deburring machine is employed to further smoothen the steel component edges, eliminating any sharpness and preparing the frames for the subsequent stages. This initial phase leverages Ahlada’s cutting-edge technology to produce high-quality, sustainable window frames that form the foundation of our products.

Powder Coating:

After profiling, the frames move to the powder coating section. This phase begins with multiple stages of pretreatment designed to enhance coating adhesion and bolster anti-corrosion properties. These treatments are crucial for ensuring paint adhesion for longer periods and maintaining the aesthetic quality of the windows.

Following pretreatment, the frames undergo a dust removal process and a waiting period to ensure optimal dryness. This step is essential for achieving precision in the coating process. Advanced machinery is subsequently used to apply a uniform powder coat across the entire profile, ensuring a flawless finish.

The coated profiles are given time to settle, allowing the powder to fully adhere and cure. Once settled, the profiles are wrapped to protect the finish from damage during the next stages of production.

Injection of PUF Infill:

The next stage involves the injection of polyurethane foam (PUF) infill. Initially, the inner and outer surfaces of the profiles are wrapped with stretch film to prevent any contamination. A precise mixture of isocyanates and polyols is then injected into the frames. This mixture expands to fill the enclosed spaces, providing excellent insulation and enhancing the structural integrity of the frames.

After the foam is injected, it undergoes a curing process, which hardens the foam and solidifies its insulating properties. This step ensures that the frames are robust and ready for the final assembly.

Final Assembly:

In the last phase of manufacturing, windows undergo meticulous assembly. Hinges, crucial for frame-window connection, are installed first. Window profiles are then carefully assembled, ensuring structural integrity. Rubber glazing tape is applied to securely fasten glass components, providing added protection. This final stage ensures windows meet rigorous standards for precision, durability, and safety.

Packaging Process:

At Ahlada, quality assurance extends to our packaging process. Following a thorough manual quality check, each window is encased in protective plastic to shield it from dust and scratches. Carefully packed into sturdy cardboard boxes, our windows are prepared for transit, ensuring they reach our customers in perfect condition. Our commitment to excellence ensures that every window arrives with the same level of care it was crafted with, maintaining our standards from production to delivery.

Ahlada Engineers is committed to delivering windows that combine functionality, durability, and aesthetic appeal. Our comprehensive manufacturing process, from profiling and powder coating to PUF infill and packaging, ensures that every window we produce meets the highest standards of quality. By leveraging advanced technology and meticulous craftsmanship, Ahlada Engineers continues to set the benchmark for excellence in window manufacturing.
