Ahlada Engineers and Mana Badi Nadu Nedu: A Journey of Educational Empowerment

The opportunity to improve the quality of education and reduce dropout rates in schools through the visionary ‘Mana Badi Nadu Nedu’ scheme, spearheaded by Andhra Pradesh’s Chief Minister, Mr. Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, was the perfect chance for us to contribute to society. This initiative aimed to transform school infrastructure across the state.
Mana Badi Nadu Nedu” is a Telugu phrase, and when translated to English, it means “Our School, Then and Now.” The vision behind the Mana Badi Nadu Nedu program was to revolutionise education in Andhra Pradesh. The program aimed to enhance infrastructure, reduce dropout rates, and improve learning outcomes, fostering inclusivity and community involvement while setting high standards for a lasting educational impact. This visionary initiative was the cornerstone of the Andhra Pradesh government’s commitment to quality education.
Ahlada Engineers Limited had the privilege of contributing significantly to the success of this scheme by manufacturing and supplying five crucial products to schools across various districts.
- Green Chalkboards
Ahlada Engineers delivered an impressive 32,214 green chalkboards to more than 17 districts. These boards not only provided a platform for teachers to engage with students but also added a touch of vibrancy to the classrooms.
- Dual Desks
In over 20 districts, Ahlada Engineers supplied 26,528 dual desks, which played a pivotal role in transforming classroom arrangements. These desks not only offered comfort but also fostered collaborative learning, thereby improving the overall educational experience.
- Purified Drinking Water System
Spanning across 26 districts, a total of 660 purified drinking water systems were installed. These systems guarantee that students have continuous access to clean and safe drinking water, contributing significantly to their health and overall well-being.
- Steel Doors
Safety and security were paramount, with Ahlada Engineers providing 22,006 steel doors in over 13 districts. These doors safeguarded the learning environment, assuring parents of their children’s welfare.
- Steel Windows
The contribution extended to 8,350 steel windows, enhancing natural light and ventilation in schools across 10 districts. These windows transformed classrooms into bright and inviting spaces for learning.
The Mana Badi Nadu Nedu scheme, enriched by collaborative efforts, has undeniably achieved remarkable success. It has ushered in revolutionary changes in the educational landscape of Andhra Pradesh. With improved infrastructure and better learning environments, students are now more motivated and engaged in their studies.
